AGWM MISSIONARIES
The Andersons: Indonesia, Asia Pacific
The Andersons are a family with an extraordinary mission: to reach the unreached people of Indonesia. Though the journey is challenging, they firmly believe that lives will be forever changed when people hear the name of Jesus! Their heart is to plant churches in the most remote villages of Indonesia, and they are excited to see how God will work in their lives and the lives of those around them. Please join them in prayer, asking God to open doors for them to preach the Gospel!
The Bucks: France, Europe
The Bucks are dedicated to reaching the lost and secularized in France with love and compassion. They will continue to train local leaders and believers, using media as a tool to spread hope and truth. Their work will also include planting house churches where nonbelievers can feel at home, and new believers can grow in their faith, become disciples, and be equipped to share the message of love with others.
The Hoobyars: Indonesia, Asia Pacific
Joel and Karen are passionately serving in Indonesia, the fourth largest country in the world, home to nearly 100 unreached people groups. Their deep desire is to see the Great Commission come to life in Indonesia, ensuring that every people group has the opportunity to hear the good news.
The Hoobyars are currently serving at SATI, the largest Assemblies of God seminary in the country. They believe that by equipping the next generation of Christian leaders, the dream of planting churches among the unreached people groups will be realized, bringing the gospel to those who have never heard it in their lifetime.
The Hunts: Latin America, Carribean
For 16 years, The Hunts have served children, youth, and trafficking victims, while supporting Teen Challenge Aruba and Bible School programs in four languages. Since 2013, they have focused on training Latin American leaders through seminars, mentoring, writer’s training, and missionary multiplication. They believe their ministry will help raise hundreds of Bible educators, church planters, and pastors to fill leadership gaps as over 200 LAC missionaries retire in the next decade.
The Joneses: Panamá, Latin America
Kirk and Yvonne, missionaries to Panamá, focus on discipleship and Bible training for children through local AG churches, training leaders in children’s ministry, and connecting orphans with Christian families via Amigo Mentor Panamá. They also assist Panamá’s AG national church.
Previously, they served as children’s and youth pastors and later in a bilingual church. Their stateside ministry included serving as Missionary in Residence at Evangel University (2013-2014).
The Kemps: Indonesia, Asia Pacific
Jamie and Tasha have been faithfully serving as missionaries in Indonesia since 2009, in the world’s largest Muslim country. They are making a significant impact through their pioneering campus ministry, which is strategically focused on university students. By reaching these students, they are helping shape the future leaders of Indonesia.
In addition to their campus ministry, Jamie travels across Indonesia and Asia to assist local churches in building strong and effective youth ministries. They are based in Yogyakarta, where they live with their two wonderful children, Phoebe and Benaiah, as they continue to serve and invest in the next generation.
The Neguses: Hong Kong, Asia Pacific
Stephen and Karen Negus met in 1988 while serving with YWAM in Hong Kong. Stephen, called to Asia after studying Bible and Theology at ICI (now Global University), worked with mobile evangelism teams, while Karen, inspired by a childhood missionary visit, arrived after graduating from Trinity Christian College.
Called to minister to missionaries pastorally, they returned to the U.S. in 1990, married, and spent 13 years preparing for ministry, serving in church leadership and leading mission teams to Guatemala, Mexico, Suriname, and India. Before returning to Hong Kong, they were Missions Directors at Victory World Church.
The Robinsons: Columbia, Latin America
The Robinsons’ ministry in Colombia is dedicated to reaching the Law Enforcement Community and their families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through specialized police-related training conducted by Christian officers from the U.S., creating impactful opportunities for evangelism. Ongoing discipleship is provided by local Assemblies of God pastors, ensuring lasting spiritual growth within the community.
The Skinners: Indonesia, Asia Pacific
Jeremy and Tina Skinner are passionate about reaching Never-Reached People Groups—those without a Gospel witness. Believing these groups have waited long enough, they moved to Indonesia in 2015, first serving in an English outreach center and campus ministry on the Island of Java.
Since 2018, as career missionaries on the Island of Sumatra, they have been building a Christ-centered, missional community, reaching Never-Reached people by sending workers where the Gospel has never been, and developing a missions-sending organization within the national Assemblies of God for lasting impact.
The Sniders: Phillipines, Asia Pacific
Bill and Kim Snider have served as missionaries in the Philippines since 1988. For 19 years, Bill oversaw AG personnel in Southeast Asia and founded and continues to lead Asia Pacific Media Ministries (AP Media), the media arm of the Assemblies of God in Asia Pacific, equipping Christian leaders to use media for Gospel outreach. During COVID-19, AP Media trained thousands of churches and workers.
Kim teaches missions and education classes at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary, leads writing seminars, and publishes MOMS, a quarterly magazine for Filipino women. She has authored two books and previously produced radio programs on Filipino family issues.
The Strusses: Indonesia, Asia Pacific
Since 2014, Ben and Kathleen have been serving in Indonesia, the world’s largest Muslim nation, home to over 220 unreached people groups. For two years, their ministry focused on reaching university students through their work at an English center in Yogyakarta, the country’s university capital.
Currently, they live in Bogor, West Java, a city of over one million people and home to the world’s largest Muslim unreached people group, the Sundanese. In 2019, they planted International Church Bogor (IC Bogor), with a vision for the church to become a missions outpost. Their goal is for IC Bogor to send church planters, missionaries, and resources throughout West Java, other restricted areas in Indonesia, and to nations around the world.
The Whites: French-Speaking African Communities U.S.
The Whites' vision is to empower French-speaking African communities in the Midwest to adapt and thrive in their new home. Through faith-based English centers, they will equip individuals with the language skills they need for success. By fostering strong connections between Francophone and U.S. churches, they aim to build a united, supportive network. Additionally, they are committed to training and equipping leaders who will inspire and guide the next generation to grow in faith and impact their communities for Christ.
Please note that some of our AGWM missionaries may not be listed due to the sensitive nature of their work.
