OUR MISSION:
At BTHL YTH, the student ministry of Bethel Assembly Elmhurst, our mission is to equip and empower middle school and high school students (6th–12th grade) to step into God’s purpose for their lives. Through worship and the Word of God, we encourage students to grow in their faith, live boldly, and be filled with the Holy Spirit as they make a lasting impact for His Kingdom.
Every Wednesday, we gather for youth group in at Bethel Assembly in Elmhurst, IL to connect, worship, and grow together in a Christ-centered community.
If you have a student in 6th–12th grade, we’d love for them to join us—we can’t wait to meet them!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Planning to visit BTHL YTH at Bethel Assembly Elmhurst? Here’s what you can expect: From the moment you arrive, one of our amazing youth leaders will greet you and have you fill out a connection card. After that, you can head downstairs for a snack, shoot some hoops, play video games, join a card game, or just hang out and chat! Some nights, we kick things off with a fun group game before diving into worship and a message. You’ll hear from our Youth pastor, Derek, as he shares a relevant, Bible-centered message for students.
It’s a great way to experience a youth group in Elmhurst, IL that’s fun, welcoming, and centered on Jesus.

We welcome new middle schoolers starting in August of their 6th grade year, all the way through 12th grade! We meet every Wednesday at 7pm at Bethel Assembly (unless otherwise noted), and students are welcome to come early to hang out with one another!

Yes, safety is a top priority. All of our youth leaders are background checked, and we maintain strict safety guidelines during all youth group meetings and events.

Yes! We plan regular outings throughout the year and attend the Momentum Youth Conference and Breakaway Teen Camp through Illinois Student Ministries every year. These events provide amazing opportunities for students to grow in their faith while building strong connections with each other. For events, conferences, or summer camps, we typically have online registration forms available on the Church Center app. You can also reach out to our Youth Director for more details!

Just attend a youth group meeting, and our youth leaders will help your child get involved in upcoming activities. We encourage students to join in on conferences, summer camp, and group outings! Be sure to follow us on Instagram and sign up for our Text in Church reminders (Text “YTH” to 630-835-0019) to stay updated on everything happening with BTHL YTH!
